The sweetest season is upon us.

During the first two weekends in March, maple sugar festivals will be held at Caesar Creek, Malabar Farm, Hueston Woods and Hocking Hills state parks. Each shindig roughly follows the same delicious formula, offering demonstrations, maple sugar products and old-timey fun. —John Ross
