Things we love: MCA tribute at Shrunken Head

In tribute to Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch, who died last week of cancer, Columbus karaoke commandant Adrian X Spillman is spinning the entire Beastie Boys catalog starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Shrunken Head (251 W. Fifth Ave.).

The bar will have Beastie Boys-themed drinks, like Sure Shots and Brass Monkeys, so you can properly toast to the late Nathanial Hornblower. Donations will be accepted for Yauch's favorite charities, another honorable way to fist-bump the man who was as cool as a cucumber in a bowl of hot sauce.
