Naturalists will debunk myths about some of nature's creepier critters during the Things that Go Bump in the Night program at Beech Maple Lodge in Reynoldsburg.

The free event will include the opportunity to learn about snakes, spiders, bats and other Halloween-friendly animals. The program, slated for 7 p.m. on Oct. 25, will start with an indoor presentation with visuals, live animals and props. There will be prizes for audience participation.

Kids are welcome, but the presentation will not be geared towards very young children. If the weather is good, a night hike will follow the indoor program. The lodge is located at 6975 E. Livingston Ave.
