Maple Sugar Tour at Stratford

Gain a new appreciation for maple syrup during a Maple Sugar Tour at Stratford Ecological Center in Delaware. The working farm invites families to participate in a behind-the-scenes look at the process of gathering maple sugar.

Visitors will have a chance to see how trees are tapped and maple syrup is collected. They also will learn about the evaporation process and have a chance to sample maple sugar.

Tours start every half hour from 10 a.m. to 12 noon this Saturday, Feb. 22 and again on Saturday, March 1. Cost is $3 per person.

The Stratford Ecological Center is located at 3083 Liberty Road, Delaware, 43015.
