Velvet Ice Cream celebration

Help Velvet Ice Cream celebrate its 100th anniversary during a celebration this Sunday, July 20 at the Ohio History Center and Ohio Village.

Visitors will learn a bit about the Ohio company and receive a lesson in how to make ice cream. They also will have the chance to sample Velvet Ice Cream treats.

The celebration will take place July 20 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Ohio Village, 800 E. 17^th Ave., Columbus 43211.

Admission to the village costs $10 for adults; $9 for seniors; $5 for youth (ages 6- to 12-years-old) and free for members and children aged 5 or younger.
