Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival

Who says nothing actually happens on Labor Day? Not the folks in Upper Arlington! This Monday marks the 48th happening of the Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival.

Each year, crowds descend on Northam Park for a day of family-fun activities (most of them free), food, entertainment and, of course, artist vendors.

This year's art activity area is especially packed: henna tattoos, crowns to bejewel, scratch-art bookmarks, printmaking, adding your handprint to one of the Upper Arlington city's snowplows, storytelling from Candace Mazur, a large-scale interactive chalk painting and much more!

A handy tip on getting there: park at the Kingsdale Shopping Center (near Chase Bank) and take the free shuttle service to and from the park. Or use their valet bike-parking service if you ride your bike there: The valets will be located in the southeast area of the festival.
