Can you hear the clop-clop of Clydesdales? They're coming to Delaware this Sunday, Sept. 7 for the annual All Horse Parade.

Every year, the Sunday before the Delaware County Fair kicks off, downtown Delaware plays host to the biggest horse parade east of the Mississippi River.

Nearly 500 horses take off at 3 p.m. from the Delaware County Fairgrounds on Pennsylvania Avenue and follow a clockwise route around the historic northwest neighborhood and downtown area. Get to town early to set up your seats along the route (which you can view on their website)! All told, it takes about 90 minutes for all the horses to pass any point along the 3-mile parade route.
