Top 5 finalists selected in Miss America pageant

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The top 5 finalists in this year's Miss America pageant have been chosen. They are:

—Miss Arkansas Ashton Jo Campbell;

—Miss Florida Victoria Cowen;

—Miss New York Kira Kazantsev;

—Miss Viriginia Courtney Paige Garrett, and

—Miss Massachusetts Lauren Kuhn.

Contestants represented all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The next Miss America will be chosen around 11 p.m.
