Poehler tour will include Seth Meyers interview
NEW YORK (AP) — Amy Poehler will have some celebrity friends — and her high school English teacher — on hand for her upcoming book tour.
The star of "Parks and Recreation" has four appearances planned to promote her memoir "Yes Please," Dey Street Books told The Associated Press on Monday. After an Oct. 27 reading at Barnes & Noble in New York City's Union Square, she'll speak with former "Saturday Night Live" colleague Seth Meyers uptown at the 92nd Street Y on Oct. 28, the day the book comes out. Norman Lear will join her at the University of California, Los Angeles on Nov. 10. Poehler will chat with her former teacher, Kathy Dalton, at Boston's Back Bay Events Center on Oct. 29.
Dey Street is an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
