A cosmic spin on the holidays

COSI has found a way to put cosmic spin on the holidays.

The science center is featuring two seasonal shows in its recently opened planetarium. The Alien Who Stole Christmas introduces audiences and Santa to earth's neighboring planets. Our Universe Above: Winter Skies is an interactive show that focuses on the planets and constellations that are most visible in winter.

The kid-friendly programs offer insights on the ancient practice of stargazing in a modern facility. Planetarium shows cost $5 with general admission tickets or $4 for members.
