Christmas Bird Counts are an annual tradition with the National Audubon, and you don't even have to be an expert birder to help out!

Every year around the holidays, thousands of people across the country head outside to identify and count the birds they see. The data they collect provides invaluable information about the health and well-being of our fine-feathered friends. And it's a great way to enjoy the outdoors!

One of the last counts of the season is taking place tomorrow, Dec. 31 at 8 a.m. at Glacier Ridge Metro Park near Dublin and Plain City. Dress warmly and bring your binoculars to meet at the Maintenance Shop. For more information, go to http://reservations.metroparks.net/programs/31501/211146.11170/.
