Kiddos who love big vehicles will want to truck on over to the Worthington Community Center on Friday, May 15 for the city's Touch a Truck event.

Kids are invited to get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicle. The event will feature everything from ambulances and taxis to fire trucks and race cars. Kids also can ride a train, make a craft and play in a bounce house.

The Columbus Public Health Department will offer car seat checks to ensure that children have a safe ride home.

The event is free, but the city is collecting canned food items for the Worthington Food Pantry.

Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon with a "No Honk" hour from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. geared to children with hearing sensitivities. The community center is located at 345 E. Wilson Bridge Road, Worthington, 43085.
