Summer programming at the Columbus Museum of Art get going this week!

The Young Child Studio, a hands-on workshop for children ages 18 months to 5 years and a caregiver, has sessions tomorrow, June 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, and again on Thursday, June 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Each unique session includes opportunities for families to explore, talk, play, and think creatively together. Cost of the program is $8 per child plus adult admission for nonmembers and $8 per child for CMA members. Space is limited. To guarantee a spot, please register by calling 614-629-5947.

And Family Adventures Tours return this Sunday, June 14, and again on Sunday, June 28, both at 2 p.m. You can share ideas, laugh, and play games during this docent-guided experience. Your family team may embark on a scavenger hunt, imagine yourselves inside a painting, or discover a work of art that tells a family story. Family Adventures are a great way to share quality time and make new memories together. Cost of this program is included with admission, no registration requested.

Remember: Parking for CMA Visitors is FREE, and is available Monday - Friday in the church lot located off East Gay Street and Ninth Street; Saturday – Sunday parking is available in the State Auto Lot. Parking meters are also available in the area. CMA is located at 480 E. Broad St., Columbus.

CMA's entrance has been moved to accommodate the construction of the Museum's new wing. Visitors will now enter the building through the doors located in the West Garden, just off of 9th Street.
