Popcorn Pops pops up this Friday, June 26 - and is followed by a free family movie!
The Columbus Symphony Orchestra brings its "Red, White and Popcorn" program, as conducted by Albert-George Schram to the Columbus Commons (located at 160 S. High St.) and you might want to get your tickets now ($8 per person, ages 3 and up; ages 2 and under are free).
Tickets can be purchased by phone at 614-228-8600, online at www.PicnicWithThePops.com or www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), central Ohio Kroger Ticketmaster locations, or central Ohio Graeter's locations. Tickets may also be purchased at the gate on the night of the show.
The gates to the lawn of the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion open at 5:30 p.m. (you can pack a picnic dinner or purchase food and drink from on-site vendors). Pre-concert activities take place from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Concerts begin at 7 pm and run for approximately one hour.
When the concert is over, stick around to watch a special, free viewing of Saturday, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day at approximately 8:15p.m.
