Got a bored teen? then send them to the SURGE program
If you've got a teen complaining there's nothing to do this summer, don't forget about the SURGE program (aka the Teen Open Studio) at the Columbus Museum of Art every Thursday and Friday afternoon.
Columbus teens are welcome to join us for this free, drop-in program in a space designated just for them where they can experiment with technology and art supplies, or just hang out with friends.
The sessions take place on Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m.
SURGE is a collaboration between CMA, Columbus Metropolitan Library, Wexner Center for the Arts, COSI and WOSU Public Media, and is made possible by a grant from Battelle.
