Summer Bridal Trends: Wedding Gowns

During our Columbus Bride fashion shoot earlier this summer, we picked the brains of the local businesses involved to see what's on trend this summer in the bridal world. Lesley O'Reilly, co-owner of B. Loved Bridal Boutique, dished on the three things she's seeing this season in wedding gowns:

*An ethereal vibe. Light, delicate and airy gowns are in, including dresses with loose sleeves that hang over a bride's shoulders.

*Ivory. O'Reilly shares that most brides are steering away from white and wearing a shade of ivory instead.

*Thinking outside the box. "Most brides are looking for more unknown designers," O'Reilly says. "They come in knowing the big box designers but don't want that. It's that feeling of wanting something unique that no one else has."
