More than 20 Broadway shows offer half-off ticket deal
NEW YORK (AP) — Broadway shows will soon be much cheaper to see — at least for a few weeks next month.
Some 22 shows are participating in Broadway Week, in which two tickets go for the price of one. These special tickets go on sale starting Thursday at 10:30 a.m. for performances only during Sept. 7-20.
The participating shows are "Aladdin," ''Amazing Grace, "An American in Paris," ''Beautiful: The Carole King Musical," ''Chicago," ''The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time," ''Finding Neverland," ''Fun Home," ''A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," ''Hand to God," ''Hedwig and the Angry Inch," ''Jersey Boys," ''The King and I," ''Kinky Boots," ''Les Miserables," ''The Lion King," ''Matilda the Musical," ''Old Times," ''The Phantom of the Opera," ''Something Rotten!" ''Spring Awakening" and "Wicked."
