Meet Fred Garnett
Age: 42
Hometown: Moncks Corner, South Carolina
Background: I've been sewing since 1992; my education is in economics and banking. 15 years of selling suits, all Bespoke-all based off of a vision that every man deserves to look his best in an affordable manner.
Approach to fashion: Simplicity with a splash of color. Keep it classy and coordinated!
Style is … a reflection of how you love yourself and the time you take to make yourself presentable to the world.
Most looking forward to … Bringing out the meaning of luxury, and showing people how they are able to dress in luxury style at an affordable price. No one needs to spend a million dollars to look like a million dollars. It's more about fit and finish.
The celebrity I'd most like to dress: Sylvester Stallone
The Columbusite I'd most like to dress: Trey Burke
The worst fashion faux pas: Wearing brown shoes with a black belt or vice versa. It is so easy to match your watchstrap, belt and shoes it feels deplorable that men miss the basics of fashion.
I never leave home without … my glasses; it's my identity and I can't see without them.
My favorite local boutique: Mood Fabrics. Very respectful.
My hope for Columbus fashion: People need to take pride in their appearance. We want to see a world of people wearing great suits with class. [In the] 1960s everyone had a suit on but they had their own identity.
