Hop in the car and go check out the Great Pumpkin Glow this weekend! The beautiful Kingwood Center Gardens, a 47-acre public garden in Mansfield, comes ablaze every year with its Great Pumpkin Glow.

This year, the Glow happens on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 5 - 10 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 18 from 5 -9 p.m. You'll be able to see and walk amongst hundreds of glowing pumpkins.

In addition to grinning, creatively carved pumpkins, Kingwood Center's gardens will be filled with glow-in-the-dark balloons, friendly scarecrows, festive and dramatic gourd displays, towering corn stalks and beautiful chrysanthemums. The whole family can also enjoy a horse-drawn hayride ($3 per person), delicious food from local vendors and fun face painting.

Great Pumpkin Glow tickets are $5 per person (children under 12 are admitted free of charge) and, for this event, parking is available at nearby Mansfield Senior High School, 124 N. Linden Road, Mansfield 44906 (you can walk or take a shuttle bus from there to Kingwood).

Information is available at or by calling 419-522-0211.
