Ukranian Pysanki class
Hop on this one because the classes at the Ohio Craft Museum fill up fast! This time, they're offering a special spring workshop that will teach anyone, ages 6+, how to create Ukranian Pysanki, those beautiful, intricate egg designs, made from beeswax and a variety of colored dyes in a layered, batik-like process. The workshop will be offered Sunday, Feb. 28; Saturday, March 5 and Saturday, March 12. Pre-registration is a must!
Adults, teens and families with children are invited to learn this age-old artform, handed down over generations. Please note that you'll be working with hot wax and an open flame– children need to be at least 6 and accompanied by an adult. The workshop costs $12 for adult members, $14 for adult non-members and $7 for children.
