Macy's: Your One-Stop Bridal Shop?
OK, so the title of this post sounds strange even to us. And it is admittedly a bit of an exaggeration. You're not going to find your florist or your caterer at Macy's, obviously. But recent renovations and additions at the Easton store have brought it that much closer to becoming wedding central. Here's a breakdown of everything the store has to offer.
Beauty
Probably the first thing you'll notice when you walk into the newly remodeled Macy's is it's revamped makeup counters. The sprawling expanse features mini-shops for everything from Lancome to NYX. Yes, the drugstore essential has not one, but two spots in Macy's. You'll find a section of great palettes and lip products among high-end counters like MAC, Estee Lauder and Clinique. The other section is an entire wall in the Macy's Impulse Beauty area, where you'll also find such brands as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Benefit (complete with a Brow Bar, of course), Urban Decay, Bare Minerals, Smashbox and Inglot, the Polish beauty brand that can only be found in a few dedicated storefronts and Macy's stores nationwide.

There's also a huge area dedicated to Bluemercury, which Macy's bought last year. It's complete with a spa, where you can get lash and brow tints, facials, full body wax services and microdermabrasion to help you get ready for your big day. You'll still find the full-service salon upstairs, where you can get all of those services plus hair cut and color services, massages and nail services.

Health and Wellness
Most folks want to get in shape before tying the knot, and the new Restore, Nourish and Strengthen department at Macy's is there to help. Top brands like Finish Line, Gaiam Yoga and Fitbit are well-represented, and a full-time health and fitness ambassador is on hand to answer any active lifestyle questions you may have. Hungry? Grab a smoothie or juice from the in-store Berry Blendz as you peruse the racks.

Fine Jewelry
Fine jewelry at Macy's is nothing new, but loose diamonds sure are. You read that right; you now can hand-pick a GIA-certified stone at Macy's and choose a setting to put it in. You can even design the ring of your dreams online, then view it in-store (in a private viewing room, no less) in about 48 hours. There's a good selection of men's and women's wedding bands and bridal accessories, as well.
Style Services
Possibly the coolest addition to Macy's nuptial services is related to wedding fashion. A special partnership with Men's Wearhouse brings tux rentals and purchases to the store for grooms and groomsmen, and a newly expanded line of Adrianna Papell dresses, available in 20 styles and 10 colors, assure that your maids will be well-styled. The line even has a few gorgeous white and off-white gowns that would make lovely wedding gowns for brides who aren't into ballgown or mermaid silhouettes.

A complimentary Wedding Stylist can offer consultations for all of the above, and will even do the legwork of coordinating your bridal party to make sure everyone has their fittings and purchases completed on time.
For guests, the Wedding Stylist can help choose an outfit and even a gift, if needed. Which brings us to…
Registry
The registry at Macy's is nothing new; in fact, a good majority of the couples who appear in the pages of each issue of Columbus Weddings include Macy's among their wedding registries. Dedicated registry staff remain on hand to help couples create, manage and complete their registries.
