Dublin residents are set to experience the best their city has to offer this Saturday, September 3 at the second annual Historic Dublin Street Bazaar. High Street in downtown Dublin will be packed with artists, food trucks and more in the open air market, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free event is open to the public and sponsored by the Historic Dublin Business Association and Chelsea Borough Home (a home decor and gift store in historic Dublin).

"We realized that there is a ton of great community surrounding historic Dublin and we wanted to bring all of that excitement all together in one place," says Christena Wentz, organizer of the event and owner of Chelsea Borough Home.

Last year's debut event attracted approximately 2,000 attendees and this year the expectations are even higher. "We're adding a lot more elements this year," Wentz says. "Our main goal was to get a lot of the art influence into the event. We have a whole section just for Dublin artists from the Dublin Area Art League."

More than 80 street vendors are expected to participate, offering photography, jewelry, handmade soaps and more. If you work up an appetite perusing the goods, no worries-more than 10 food trucks will also be participating.
