Trunk Show Alert

Emma Frankart Henterly

Big Rock Bridal Atelier has not one, but two big trunk shows coming up from top-name couture designers. First on the agenda is the Nurit Hen event that starts today (Sept. 2) and runs through store close tomorrow. The Israeli design house has exploded into the fashion scene worldwide in recent years. Nurit Hen got her start in fashion designing wedding and evening gowns in the '80s, when she was only 22 years old.

Big Rock Bridal Atelier will have three Nurit Hen lines at their show this weekend: Empire of Lace, which features (you guessed it) a ton of lace details; The Spirit of Love, with its flowy and ethereal silhouettes; and White Palace Couture, a regal collection that's anything but understated.

Many of Nurit Hen's gowns feature skin-bearing details like super-low backs, side and abdomen cutouts and plunging necklines, as well as a variety of innovative illusion elements.

The second big-name trunk show takes place Sept. 15-17 and features gowns from Jenny Packham's 2017 bridal collection, which debuted at New York Fashion Week in a barn-themed presentation. Ohio brides will love these gowns, which were inspired by "the plains of the Midwest" and "the afterglow of a wild night." These gowns prove that you don't have to sacrifice elegance when your theme is rustic.

This British fashion house has been worn by a range of celebrities and high society notables, including Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Kate Winslet, Oprah Winfrey and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton herself.
