Kanye West resumes touring, appears in Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) — Kanye West has resumed touring days after wife Kim Kardashian West was held up in Paris.

West took the stage Friday night in his hometown of Chicago for the first time since he abruptly cut short a New York concert the night his wife was held up in Paris. He cited a "family emergency" at the time.

He canceled and rescheduled dates on his Saint Pablo Tour in Philadelphia and the Detroit area.

Kardashian West was in Paris on Monday for the city's fashion week shows when robbers held her at gunpoint and locked her in a bathroom before stealing more than $10 million worth of jewelry. Police in Paris are investigating. No arrests have been made.
