Behind the Veil at a New Bridal Salon

Emma Frankart Henterly

When we found out that White of Dublin is opening a new sister store, we could barely contain our excitement. And when Diane Bond, co-owner of the couture shop, told us that appropriately named Off White store would feature off-the-rack sample gowns from the main showroom, containment was no longer an option.

"When we first opened White of Dublin, we always said it would be great someday to have [another] store," says Bond. "And one would be our couture wedding dress store; the other one would be off-the-rack sample sales, consignment and even our bridesmaids."

When a shop in the lower level of White of Dublin's building closed up recently, Bond and co-owner Heather DiMasi jumped at the chance to turn their "someday" into "now."

Off White will sell the sample gowns from Off White that have been discontinued, giving brides the chance to snag a top-name couture ensemble for a fraction of the retail price-as much as a 50 to 75 percent discount, says Bond, adding that opportunities for consignment sales may be in the shop's future as well.

We got the chance to check out the space as it's being completed, so of course we're sharing that sneak peek with you. Stay tuned for more updates on Off White's official opening later this year!
