Happy Anniversary, Alexis and Ali!

Today we're wishing a very happy first anniversary to Alexis and Ali Jamshidi, who had a multicultural, Halloween masquerade ball-themed wedding at the Ohio Statehouse. Their ceremony featured both a unity candle and a traditional Persian sofreh aghd. In keeping with the themes, guests sported masks provided by the newlyweds and took home candy favors.

If you're wondering how these two met, the answer is at a Halloween party, of course. (Fun fact: The groom's cake featured miniature replicas of the costumes the pair were wearing on the night they met.)
