Real Wedding Wednesdays: Colleen Wirtz and Joseph Curtin

You can't really call Colleen and Joseph Curtin "high school sweethearts," even though they went to the same high school. The two reconnected on Facebook 10 years post-graduation and realized they made a great couple!
Their wedding featured a "love locally" theme, so they incorporated some of their favorite things about growing up in Columbus-as well as details about Cincinnati, where they now reside.
"We took wedding pictures in uptown Westerville and had a Graeter's ice cream bar at our reception," says Colleen. "Joe loves craft beer, so we had a bar featuring some of his favorite selections from local breweries in Cincinnati and Columbus." To add to the theme, table decor at the reception featured street signs from Columbus locations that are important to the couple.
One of the wedding's most memorable moments was when Joe's grandfather, who mostly gets around in a wheelchair, shared a dance "with his bride of 69 years to their favorite song, 'At Last' by Etta James," says Colleen.
