Enlist the kids’ help in planning the next family trip by taking them to the Great Vacations Travel Expo.

The event, which runs Feb. 3-5 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, will host Kids Day on Saturday, Feb. 4. Children can play games, learn about new destinations and enter to win a trip for four to Chattanooga by collecting passport stamps from exhibitors.

Josh Gates from Travel Channel’s Expedition Unknown will talk about his adventures and sign autographs. Snoopy will pose for photos. Other family-friendly activities include a Metro Parks area where visitors can learn about wildlife, meet naturalists and test their skills on a putting green.

Admission is $8 for adults (AAA members pay $4) and free for children ages 16 and younger. Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. The convention center is at 400 N. High St., Columbus.
