Aqua-Bunny scuba dives in Discovery Reef.

Grab some-bunny special and head to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium this weekend for Eggs, Paws and Claws.

The annual Easter event takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 30 and 31.

Highlights include:

  • Numerous literary and TV rabbits—including Bugs Bunny, Bunnicula, Buster Bunny from Arthur, the Energizer Bunny, Little Nutbrown Hare and Pat the Bunny—will be on hand to greet guests.
  • The Columbus Metropolitan Library will host daily storytimes at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • Aqua-Bunny will dive in to feed the Discovery Reef fish at 1 p.m. each day.
  • Character parades will occur daily at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30, 2 and 4 p.m.
  • Zoo animals will get colored eggs or another enrichment activity at various times throughout the day. See the zoo’s website for the full schedule. 
  • Children can have a photo taken with the Easter bunny for a fee.
