Jim James with Amo Amo, Friday, June 14

Jim James, singer, songwriter and guitarist of the indie rock powerhouse My Morning Jacket, will stop by the Southern Theatre as part of a tour in support of his 2018 solo album Uniform Distortion. Opening for James will be Amo Amo, a new group with a debut album produced by James himself. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Columbus Pride Fest, Friday, June 14–Sunday, June 16

Half a century after the Stonewall riots that ushered in the gay liberation movement, the Columbus Pride Festival will commemorate that event with a “Tea Dance” Friday at 4 p.m. at BrewDog Franklinton, recalling one way that LGBTQ people once were forced to disguise their gatherings. The rest of the celebration promises to be less discreet, with three days of rainbow-colored events, including a Trans March Friday at 8 p.m., the Pride Parade at 10:30 Saturday with Nina West as grand marshal, an all-day festival Saturday along the Scioto and a Pride Brunch on Sunday.

Seth Meyers, 7 p.m., Saturday, June 15

For those who prefer sarcasm and cutting political jokes to carpool karaoke or lip-syncing battles, the Saturday Night Live alum and host of Late Night with Seth Meyers takes the stage at the Southern Theatre for a standup set this weekend.
