Columbus Italian Festival, Friday, Oct. 11-Saturday, Oct. 13

 The Columbus Italian Festival takes place this weekend with three days of authentic Italian music, food, kids activities, cultural events, cooking demos and more. You can play bocce ball on Friday, or watch the Saturday tournament or Sunday shoot-out. ProMusica: Opening Night, Sunday, Oct. 13

ProMusica Chamber Orchestra opens its fall season Sunday night at the Southern Theatre with a concert led by and featuring the orchestra’s creative partner, Vladim Guzman. The renowned Israeli violinist will perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 as part of an evening of the great Viennese masters, Mozart, Beethoven and Mahler. HERE: Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer, Maya Lin, Sunday , Oct. 13

The Wexner Center for the Arts is planning a special program for families to explore the current exhibition, HERE: Ann Hamilton, Jenny Holzer, Maya Lin. The free Zoom Family Studio event offers participants the opportunity to view the exhibition and bring in objects from home to create their own project incorporating images and words. wexarts.org

All Hallows’ Eve, Saturday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 19

Celebrate fall and everything spooky during All Hallows’ Eve at Ohio Village. Hear “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” read aloud by the bonfire, carve a pumpkin, make crafts, play Victorian-era games and more. Hours are 5:30-9:30 p.m. (note the Ohio History Center closes at 4 p.m.). Admission is $16 for adults, $12 for children ages 4-12 and free for ages 3 and younger. ohiohistory.org
