Got word from the Columbus Folk Music Society that their marquee event will take place this weekend, May 4-6, at Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. [park info] [park map]

The festival welcomes bluesman Guy Davis and old-timey purveyor Sally Rogers, who will headline the three-day event.

Here are some schedule highlights:

Friday, May 4, 5 to 10 p.m. Potluck supper, "World's Worst Song Contest"

Saturday, May 5, 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Workshops, young musicians showcase, main stage concert

Sunday, May 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gospel and celebration, workshops, campfire and jamming
