Lunch Break Links: June 5, 2007
Super short links today... apologies. It's crunch time over here.
Will Sheff from Okkervil River talked to Pitchfork about the band's new album, Stage Names.
PopWatch interviewed Justin Long (aka "The Mac Guy") on MTV's red carpet.
I've never seen more than a few episodes of The Sopranos, but if you're into it, you might enjoy this Slate feature, in which a writer for the show explains the final episodes. The series finale airs Sunday night on HBO.
I refuse to stop linking to Lost stuff, FYI. Last week Pop Candy linked to a hilarious season 3 recap and a separate finale recap. The language can be a little spicy, and it's full of IM-speak, but that's part of the joke. A week later, these just keep on being awesome.
AV Club interviews Fall Out Boy? Interesting...
You may know about lala.com from when they revived WOXY. The Los Angeles Times took a look at lala's business plan, which includes trying to sell digital downloads by letting listeners stream entire songs for free.
Apparently the new craze for illegal downloading is going to be PDFs of music magazines.
Lastly, this bit of Arcade Fire basketball drama is good for a laugh.
