Columbus Alive

Let's start with some Comfest footage. The Lindsay. Mors Ontologica all-star band. Spikedrivers. The Flex Crew. You're So Bossy. The Evil Queens. The Evil Queens again. Deadsea. The Means.

Also on the local music tip, Columbus' prolific lo-fi maestro Marvin the Robot has a new video out. It's called "Fear and Loathing of Los Angeles."

What about Flight of the Conchords? I've been catching up in bits and pieces via YouTube. Particularly of note is their song "Inner City Pressure."

Art Brut has a new video too, called "Direct Hit."

Stereogum has video of Wayne Coyne in a bubble at Bonnaroo.

The DL has and an awkward Guitar Hero II contest between David Cross and J Mascis.

Pop Candy directs us to a fake Gobots movie trailer and a clip of the TV show's opening theme music. Honestly, I can't explain why, but when I was a kid, I was way into Gobots, much more so than Transformers. Nope, no explanation.

Videocracy's No. 1 vid of today is the prairie dog that's sweeping the nation.

Forget that new Kanye video—it's all about Daft Hands.

Finally, courtesy of PopWatch, my favorite find of the week: "Hi, I'm a Marvel." "And I'm a DC."

(Parts two, three and four are out there too. Enjoy!)
