Columbus Outdoor Pursuits to host caving trip this weekend

Columbus Outdoor Pursuits, a local band of outdoorsy folk, will host a trip to Sharp's Cave, located in southern West Virginia, this weekend, August 18-19.

I spoke with the trip leader, and he's looking for people. If interest is low, the trip will be cancelled.

Thr trip includes about 5 hours of caving and an overnight camping stay at a nearby state park. Multiple waterfalls and numerous rock features will be included. COP has equipment to rent, and beginner's are welcome.

I was told there's not much crawling.
