If you're looking for after-work entertainment, try the Donewaiting happy hour at Surly Girl. Guest DJ Doug Elliott, one of the town's foremost experts on experimental music and soft rock, will be spinning vinyl from 7 to 10 p.m.

Tonight's TV lineup is bolstered by the third season premiere of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, with two half-hour episodes beginning at 10 p.m. on FX. For the uninitiated, the show follows four friends running a bar and getting into ridiculous situations in Philadelphia. I've only seen one episode, but it was utterly hilarious, and I'm looking forward to catching up on the old seasons concurrently with this one.

Also, I finally got around to checking out the pilot for Mad Men, AMC's drama about 1960s advertising executives, and I can't wait to see more of the series. This week's episode airs tonight at 10 p.m.

Completing the 10 p.m. glut is the new episode of Bravo's Tim Gunn's Guide to Style, which I have a feeling is a lot less fun than Project Runway, but I'll probably check it out on one of Bravo's endless rerun cycles eventually.
