What To Do Tonight: The Office, fools!
Also on are the premieres of My Name Is Earl (8 p.m., NBC) and Ugly Betty (8 p.m., ABC) and Smallville (8 p.m., CW) three shows that I hear are quite good but haven't become a part of my universe just yet. And then there's the one I abandoned, Grey's Anatomy, clocking in at 9 p.m. on ABC.
What about out and about?
"Brent Green's films have been shown at such high art locations as the Whitney Museum in NYC and the Getty Museum in LA, screened at Sundance in 2006 and 2007, he was the recipient of a 2006 Creative Capital grant, and has toured with folks like Califone, members of Fugazi, and more."
He opened for Califone at the Wexner Center last fall, and it was quite an experience. Not sure how to describe what went down. It's definitely intense, though. Sin Ropas will be doing their own set as well. Moviola starts the thang off at 8:30 p.m. sharp.
One more thing: Big metal show happening at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St. Local cats 1.3 will be joined by Atlanta's Zoroaster and Withered. (Wow, Georgia is quite the metal hotbed.) 10 p.m. start. Rock the eff out.
