Welcome to a wonderful week of pop culture! Consider this: Rocktober begins today, the TV season sees another week of exciting premieres (30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, Pushing Daisies), baseball playoffs start (playoffs=pop culture in my book), and the whole Radiohead thing has me psyched.

Also getting me psyched: SNL with LeBron and Kanye was surprisingly good; almost half the show made me laugh, and next week's Seth Rogen/Spoon lineup promises more enjoyment. Could this be the year the show gets good again?
