Polaroid film in jeopardy
My friend Scott Hammond, a really good local photographer whose work appears to the right, forwarded me his concerns over recent news that Polaroid is closing plants that manufacture the popular instant film.
The New York Times wrote last week:
Hammond uses a lot of instant film, and this news is bad for business. Polaroid instant film will be available in stores through next year, the company said. After that, Japan's Fujifilm will be the only major maker of instant film. He's trying to spread the word and convince Polaroid to continue making its treasured products; you can sign a petition being circulated by following the link below.
