What To Do Tonight: 'Pologize once more

It's too late to 'pologize that we didn't get a OneRepublic preview in the paper, but I figure the future one-hit-wonders can fill up Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St., without Alive's help. Josh Kelley (seriously, click and look at the dude's hilarious picture) opens, tickets cost $20 and doors open at 7 p.m.

Orange County pop-rockers Limbeck return to The Basement, 391 Neil Ave., for a go-round with impressive locals This Is My Suitcase, Florida songwriter John Ralston and Dallas Americana rockers The New Frontiers. Read John Ross' Ralston-centric preview, then show up after 7:30 p.m. and pay your $10 cover.

The best late live music option tonight is all local and free. Turn out to Skully's, 1151 N. High St., after 10 p.m. for sets from Take No Damage and newbies Marseille, Marseille (from the ashes of Vietnam II).

Oh, and Mary J. Blige is on Storytellers (8 p.m., VH1).
