Song of the Day: The Moon and Badtimes
The latest project from Dustin White, a local songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, has produced some of the weirdest stuff I've heard in Columbus this year. But this is weird I can back -- a swirling mix of King Crimson, Kraftwerk, ELO and likely a hundred of influences White can cite that I cannot. There are about seven different parts in this song, all bound by a watery organ piping out a stream of dulcet tones. The group is on tour right now, but I'll let you know when they get back into town.
