What To Do Tonight: Enjoy a rock 'n' roll spectacle

The Tel Aviv rock exhibitionists known as Monotonix return to Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St., tonight. The Israeli trio's gimmicky but hard-rocking stage show—in which the band sets up in the middle of the floor and singer Ami Shalev engages in various hijinx— has polarized the Bobo regulars. I loved their shtick when I witnessed it last April. Judge for yourself tonight. Local punk overlords Night of Pleasure and Los Angeles' Anavan round out the bill. 10 p.m., five bucks.

Not much good TV to speak of, although I did quite enjoy How I Met Your Mother (8:30 p.m., CBS) while writing it up for this week's paper. You should probably just go to the rock show, though.
