What To Do Tonight: Do the standing still with Mannequin Men

The Dismemberment Plan, one of my favorite bands of all time, released a song back in 1997 called "Doing the Standing Still." The song was a mockery of stone-faced, cross-armed indie kids that didn't seem to have any fun at rock shows. Its title always comes to mind when I hear the name Mannequin Men, though I'm sure the Chicago foursome has no problem getting people to move.

These guys are stronger, smarter and better than your average garage rock combo, and they're coming to Ravari Room, 2657 N. High St., tonight. Joining the Men for the mayhem will be the endearingly bizarre Guinea Worms and the bizarrely endearing Sick Thrills. A $7 cover gets you there in time for the Thrills' first note at 10:15 p.m.

On TV, we have the return of My Boys (9:30 p.m., TBS) and Game 4 of the NBA Finals (9 p.m., ABC).
