What To Do Tonight: Rock at Ravari, of course

Ravari Room's fine slate of Thursday night rock shows continues with tonight's Burning Brides/Evil Queens double bill. Year Long Disaster was originally supposed to headline the bar, 2657 N. High St., but these two heavy hitters are better than that band anyway. Plus now Micah from Two Cow Garage will be performing. 9 p.m. doors, $8 cover.

Elsewhere, there's a pretty cool house show happening in Clintonville, High Five has a band called Gentleman Auction House and young guitar stars Joe Bonamassa and Scotty Bratcher are at LC Pavilion (details here).

As for small screen options, TV Guide suggests Fear Itself (10 p.m., NBC), RENO 911! (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central), My Boys (9:30 p.m., TBS) and an imported Canadian soap opera about hockey players' lives off the ice called MVP: He Shoots, He Scores (11 p.m., SOAPNET).
