Song of the Day: Beck

Both Guero and The Information met with pretty harsh criticisms, so I'm not really sure what people want from Beck. Nor am I certain how this one will go over with an audience who demands perhaps more from this musician than any other, save Radiohead. I won't say this one is better than either of his previous two releases, because I liked those two a lot.

I will say that this one combines the wacky, try-everything approach of Odeley! to the more somber, pensive mood that made Sea Change such an odd move. Also, it was produced by Danger Mouse, producer du jour des celebrities.
