Lotsa good shows are happening tonight. Consider these three:

Meth Teeth brings their ridiculous name and irresistible Portland shamble pop to Carabar, 115 Parsons Ave., where they'll be joined by local punk mainstays Night of Pleasure, Iowa tape loop specialists Wet Hair and experimental folkies Circuit des yeux from Purdue country. (Or TV Ghost country, as this crowd would have it.) Starts at 10 p.m. sharp and is FREE.

•Bernies, 1986 N. High St., welcomes Chicago's Prarie Spies, a sharp-but-spacy garage pop group that will sandwich between local indie poppers The Cabdrivers and The Kyle Sowashes. This one also starts at 10 p.m., and it likely costs $5.

•And the art show at The Shelf, 57 E. Gay St. #4, will feature music from some of this city's best quiet folks: Moon High, Bird & Flower and Time & Temperature. (Also worth noting: The art in question is by Times New Viking's Beth Murphy.)
