What To Do Tonight: Enjoy electricity, the sounds of The Walkmen

Those without power in their homes today would be well served to get out tonight and enjoy the comforts of electricity at The Basement, 391 Neil Ave. But even lucky folks like me who have power after yesterday's storm would be wise to head to the club tonight for a set from The Walkmen. The preppy NYC rockers just released a fourth solid set of wailing, insistent tunes called You & Me, and their swing through town last spring was a highly rewarding experience. Tonight's show costs $15 and also features Golem. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Let's hope it's not as awkward as this.

Also, the Motorhead show planned for yesterday has been rescheduled for tonight.
