Song of the Day: Brightblack Morning Light

Unfortunately, these effing hippies chose to only post the weakest song from their new album. Sorry. It's still good, but I would try "Hologram Buffalo" if you can find it illegally somewhere. The group is known for its deep, dark, lethargic brand of freak folk -- endless repetitions, smoky grooves and chanting gently about nonsense. It's some of my favorite stuff, and this album was recorded for Matador using only four solar panels. I'm loving both the tunes and the politics.
