What To Do Tonight: House show or Hanson or geeks on TV

I'm ashamed to admit that in my sick day haze, I forgot to mention last night's real best show (sorry, Skylab): Born Ruffians. Alas, I also was unable to attend, but if anybody made it out you should let me know how it went. They killed at SXSW.

On the house show circuit, lots of loud bands will play the Legion of Doom, 1579 Indianola Ave., at 9 tonight, as advertised above. (Also appearing will be the Teeth of the Hydra-related Nukkehammer, who seem to have no website.)

And if you are into the strange musical anomaly known as Hanson, you probably already know they will be in town tonight.

As for TV, the best premiere of the night is bound to be The IT Crowd (10 p.m., IFC), one of the many remakes of British shows getting a shot this season. This one is a comedy about the geeks who work in a company's tech department.
