Got the heads up from friend and local artist Sherri Uhrick about an event she's throwing for a very good cause.

An art show to benefit the fight against prostitution and the human sex trade is slated for BoMA Thursday, Oct. 16, at 5 p.m. The fundraiser will feature local art, dinner coupons, live music, guest speakers, silent auctions and a raffle. Admission costs $20, and all profits benefit Gracehaven, which provides shelter and rehabilitation for young victims of sex crimes.
